The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way:
Mermaids do not exist.
But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?
Without a doubt, I'd rather be a whale.
At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.
We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn't enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies. We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated. Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself: "How amazing am I ?! "
*NOTE* I've been told that this comes from How I Met Your Mother! I love that show!
That was the description attached to the Pin above on Pinterest.
I got the rest of the story from HERE.

I felt the need to share the pin and the story.
Now, while I still would very much like to lose weight and be thinner, I don't want to be a stick figure. I don't want to lose my breasts, my hips, my thick thighs and my curves. I want to lose some of those parts, but still keep a nice curvy thickness because I feel that it's beautiful. Though if you're thin and in shape, you are still beautiful too. If everyone looked the same, it would be a very boring world. Diversity is beautiful.
I'm not aiming for a size 4. I'm hoping for a 10 or 12, and to be in good shape with those lovely curves. I am aiming for a health level that allows me to climb stairs and hike mountains without feeling winded. For the ability to run and not stop running until I want to. That is what I'm aiming for.
However I think we get caught up in our quest for weight loss, and forget to love ourselves where we are at this moment as well. You don't have to be satisfied with it, but you do still need to love it. Love yourself while working to change, or you'll never change. Love yourself PERIOD.

I think that's great! And I agree with it.
However, I did chuckle at the mermaid and the whale thing because it comes directly from How I Met Your Mother.
